Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MAXTV (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our websites, apps, and streaming services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run the Service:
- Account details — the login (username or email) and password you use to sign in. Credentials may be stored securely on your own device to enable features like QR pairing.
- Subscription data — your plan, expiry date, and device limit, so we can give you access to the right content.
- Usage & activity — channels and titles you open, resume positions, and basic playback events, used to power features like Continue Watching and Top Channels.
- Device & technical data — device type, app version, approximate connection quality, and similar diagnostics needed to deliver smooth streaming.
2. How we use your information
- To authenticate you and provide access to live TV and on-demand content.
- To remember your preferences, resume points, and recently watched items.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the quality and reliability of the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, trials, and important changes.
4. How your information is stored and secured
Authentication tokens are kept in secure, httpOnly cookies that are not readable by page scripts. On native apps, credentials are stored in the platform’s secure keychain/keystore. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting and payment processing), and only to the extent needed to perform those services, or where required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Parental controls are available to restrict and PIN-protect channels.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
